If you have a scheduled task but it is not running there are a few possible causes.



No User Logged In


If the user is not currently logged in to that machine then that could stop the scheduled task from running. By default, the tasks are set up using the currently-logged-in user's account. If you wish to have the task run regardless of whether a user is logged in you will need to edit the task and add a user / password combination to ensure the task can log in by itself if needed.
