The Record and Document Locks allow you to prevent Records and/or Documents from being changed except by the designated user


Options


If a Record or Document is locked then users other than those that they are locked to are limited to Read Only access to the Record.


  • Add Record/Document Lock  - Adds a lock to the active Record/Document for the specified user


  • Remove Record/Document Lock - Removes a lock from the active Record/Document for the specified user or all users



For Records you specify the Record ID to lock (blank or 0 for current Record) and the User ID or User Name of the user to lock the Record for


For Documents you specify the Category, SubCategory and Name of the document within the active Record to lock (leave all blank for the active Document) and the User ID or User Name of the user to lock the Document for. You can also specify whether or not to lock ALL documents matching or just the first.
