AI Search


AI Search lets you find records by describing what you are looking for in plain English. Instead of filling in search fields, you type a question or description and the AI turns it into a record search, runs it, and shows you the results.


How to access it


On the search form, look for the **Dig Deeper with AI** box (shown when your site is licensed for AI). Type your request and run it.


Using it


  • Describe what you want — for example "invoices from Acme over $5,000 last quarter" or "open work items assigned to me".
  • If you already have search criteria entered, AI Search uses them as context so you can refine an existing search rather than starting over. The prompt text changes to "Refine your search…"* in that case.
  • Results open in the normal record results grid.


Things to know


  • AI Search builds and runs a standard record search — the results are real records you can open,   sort and act on as usual.
  • A usage gauge in the search panel shows token usage; each request counts whether or not it finds matches.


TIPS


  1. Include the things you would normally filter on — a field value, a date range, an amount, an assignee — and the AI will map them to the matching search fields.
  2. If the results aren't what you expected, refine your wording and run it again, or switch to the standard **Search Fields** tab to fine-tune.



NOTE ON (AI): AI Search consumes tokens and may incur extra fees. Check with your sales rep for more information. Please verify all results, as AI can make mistakes.
