The Create Text Document action allows you to create text documents from other data sources


Options


    • Create Document In - Specify the Category / SubCategory / Name in which to place the Text document in the active Record. 


    • Save into Record - Specify the ID of the Record in which to save the text file. Leave blank for the active Record.


    • Record ID to Field - Specify the name of the field in which to save the new Document's ID.


    • File Name - Specify the name of the file as it is stored in the system. Make sure to include the extension.


    • Overwrite - You need to specify whether to add a new document, overwrite and exiting document or add to an existing document.


    • Text Contents - This is where you specify the text to use as the contents of the document. If you are adding to an existing document this will be added JUST after the end of the previous content. Make sure you account for line feeds yourself as we do not assume any line feeds.



All fields can contain static values or variables.
