The Document Lock action allows you to prevent Documents from being changed except by the designated user


Options


If a Document is locked then users other than those that they are locked to are limited to Read Only access to the Document.


  • Add Document Lock  - Adds a lock to the active Document for the specified user


  • Remove Document Lock - Removes a lock from the active Document for the specified user or all users



For Documents you specify the Category, SubCategory and Name of the document within the active Record to lock (leave all blank for the active Document) and the User ID or User Name of the user to lock the Document for. You can also specify whether or not to lock ALL documents matching or just the first.
