My AI Activity

My AI Activity is your own history of the AI features you have used in DocMgt. It answers "what have I asked the AI to do?" — every summary you generated, every reply you drafted, every workflow you had explained — so you can go back and read a result again instead of re-running it.

Everyone with an AI-licensed system has this screen, and it always shows only your own activity. It is not an administrative or reporting screen.

How to access it

Choose My AI Activity from your user menu in the toolbar — the same menu that holds My Settings.

What is listed

Each row shows:

  • Feature — which AI feature you used, such as Record Summarizer or Draft Reply.
  • Item — the title of what was produced, so you can recognise it at a glance.
  • When — when it finished.
  • Status — Complete, Failed, or Running if it is still working.

The newest activity is listed first. Use Refresh to pick up anything that has finished since you opened the screen, and the page buttons at the bottom to move through older activity. Refresh and the page buttons both respect the Type box, so they move through whatever you have chosen to show rather than through everything.

Narrowing the list by type

Above the list is a Type box that limits what is shown to a single AI feature. Leave it set to All Types to see everything you have done, or choose a feature — Record Summarizer, Draft Reply, AI Search and so on — to see only that kind of activity. The list returns to the first page each time you change it, and the newest activity is still listed first within whatever you have chosen.

The filter is the fastest way to find one particular result when you have used AI a lot. If you know you drafted a reply last week but cannot remember which document it was for, choose Draft Reply and everything else drops away, usually leaving a short enough list to spot it without paging at all.

If a feature has never been used by you, choosing it simply shows No activity of that type. That is not an error — the box lists every AI feature available to you, whether or not you have used it yet.

Opening a result

Rows that produced a saved result are shown in blue and open when you click them. The result opens in a dialog where you can read it again, Copy it to paste elsewhere, or Download PDF to save or send it.

The features that save an openable result are the Document Summarizer, the Record Summarizer, Draft Reply, the Workflow Explainer, and the Error Log Explainer.

Why some rows do not open

AI Help Assistant conversations and AI Search rows are listed but cannot be opened. These features answer you in the moment rather than producing a saved document, so there is nothing stored to re-open later. They are still listed so your history is complete and matches what you actually did.

A row that shows Failed also cannot be opened, because no result was produced. If a feature keeps failing, contact your system administrator.

This is not a usage or billing screen

My AI Activity deliberately shows no token counts, usage figures or costs. It is a record of your work, not of what it consumed. If you need usage and token reporting, that lives in the AI Usage report, which is available to users with reporting rights.

Opening this screen and re-reading a past result does not use any AI tokens — the result was saved when it was first produced, and viewing it again simply reads it back.

TIPS

  1. If you closed a summary dialog before copying the text, do not re-run the feature — open My AI Activity and copy it from there. Re-running costs tokens and may word the result differently.
  2. Download PDF is the quickest way to attach an AI summary to an email or hand it to someone who does not use DocMgt.
  3. If you cannot find something you remember doing, check the Type box first — it may simply be filtered out. If the list is set to All Types and it is still missing, check whether it was an AI Help Assistant chat or an AI Search — those are listed but never openable.
  4. Your history is kept indefinitely, so this is a reliable place to find work from weeks or months ago.
  5. Filtering costs nothing and changes nothing — it only decides which of your past activity is shown. Switch back to All Types whenever you want the full picture again.

NOTE ON (AI): This screen only displays AI results that were already produced and saved. It does not send anything to the AI and does not consume tokens. Filtering the list by type does not either. The features that create these results do — see the topic for each feature. Please verify all results, as AI can make mistakes.
