Record Locks
The Record Lock action allows you to prevent Records from being changed except by the designated user
Options
If a Record is locked then users other than those that they are locked to are limited to Read Only access to the Record.
- Add Record Lock - Adds a lock to the specified Record for the specified user / team.
- Lock Record - Leave blank to lock the current Record or put in an ID of the Record to lock
- Named Record - Alternatively, you can specify the Name of a Record. You need to have named the other Record within the current workflow sequence for this to work.
- Locked For - The User or Team to lock the Record for.
- Remove Record Lock - Removes a lock from the active Record for the specified user / team or all users
- Lock Record - Leave blank to unlock the current Record or put in an ID of the Record to unlock
- Named Record - Alternatively, you can specify the Name of a Record. You need to have named the other Record within the current workflow sequence for this to work.
For the Locked Form setting, enter the User ID or User Name of the user to lock the Record for. If you use a Team Name then the Record is locked for all users in that Team.
