View Map
Shows the area around a latitude and longitude, with no pin and no point of interest marked. Use it to give a sense of where something is, such as the streets around a site, rather than to mark an exact spot. The user can move and zoom the map, but nothing they do is saved.
LAT/LON of Map Center - The latitude and longitude the map centers on, written as one comma-separated pair such as 40.7354796,-96.7048616. It must be coordinates; an address does not work here. [variables] and {FieldName} references are replaced, so the center can come from the record or from another field on the form. Always fill it in: when it is blank, the map opens on a fixed default location.
Map Zoom - How close the map starts. 0 shows the whole world, and each step up zooms in closer. A new View Map starts at 18, close in at street level. Only 0 to 18 is used; any other value, including -1, shows the map at 18.
Default Map View - Whether the map opens as a Road Map View or a Satellite View.
Following a field on the form
When the center comes from another field with {FieldName}, the map moves to the new center about a second after that field changes, so the map can follow coordinates the user has just entered or that another field has worked out.
