Workflow AI Features
Workflow AI Features
In addition to the end-user and builder AI features described in this section, DocMgt provides a family of AI Workflow Actions — AI-powered steps that run automatically inside your workflow processes. Use them to read, understand and act on documents as records move through their lifecycle, without anyone having to push a button.

What they have in common with the rest of AI
Every AI workflow action shares the same fundamentals as the rest of DocMgt AI:
- Tokens - Each call consumes tokens. AI workflow usage is shown on the AI Workflow report and is billed separately from other AI tokens — see AI Tokens & Limits. Having AI Workflow tokens separated from End User and Builder tokens keeps workflow running ever after other token limits have been hit.
- Quality levels - Most actions offer a quality choice (typically Economy / Balanced / Maximum, or Balanced / Maximum). Higher quality reads more carefully but costs more tokens. Each action's help page describes its options.
- Fees and verification - AI work may incur extra fees — check with your sales rep. And, as with every AI feature, results should be verified; for high-stakes data, validate against a lookup or require human review downstream.
