The Direct Trigger Link action allows you to move the workflow to a specific Trigger / Process

If you need to move the workflow directly to a specific trigger or process and do not want to have to bother with whether or not it SHOULD go there (based on the rules) then this action will get you there. This action will move the current workflow to a specific Trigger or Process and will even bypass the normal Activation Rules to make sure it gets there. This can be used for an entire workflow but is not recommended. In fact this action type is considered an "advanced" action type due to its ability to be abused.

The most frequent use case for this action is to give users a way to send an item into a self-sufficient process. Once you get into the process the triggers in there will be used if/when they need. Once all those triggers are completed then the workflow will go back to the step that it originally came from. Ad hoc approvals and review processes can use this pattern nicely.
