Link Container
A Link Container makes whatever you put inside it clickable. A click anywhere on it runs one action, chosen the same way as for a Button. Drop an Image inside it for a clickable picture, or several fields for a clickable card - a picture with a caption under it, or a Stat Tile with a note.
The fields inside stack one under another, full width. There are no layout settings; to place fields side by side, put a Flex Columns inside the Link Container.
Settings
Field Name - The name used to refer to the container in conditions and in actions.
Action Type and the settings below it - The action to run when the container is clicked. These are the same choices a Button offers, for example Open Web Link with its Browser URL and Target Window, Set Field Value, or Run Action Set.
The action runs only on the finished form. In the designer, clicking the container selects it so you can edit it.
How clicks inside it are handled
Clicks on the things inside that already do something of their own go to them, not to the container: text boxes, dropdowns, buttons and links, and fields with their own click action, such as a Button, a Stat Tile or Date Badge set to run an action, or another Link Container. Everywhere else, a click runs the container's action.
The container can also be reached with the Tab key and run with Enter or the space bar, and another field's Trigger Field Action can click it.
Look
The mouse pointer changes to a hand over the container. Its colors, border, rounded corners and Height come from the same settings every field has, and they apply to the whole clickable area, so the container itself can be the card.
When the E-form is converted to a PDF document, the fields inside the container are printed as normal.
